Well today was HARD! Probably the hardest days since we started...I think it might have had a teensy bit to do with the poisons we ingested on the weekend, so we deserved it. The creepy Dutch guy, walked up to me today, stared me straight in the eye, and said, have you ever done track?...desperately looking for an escape route...I said this is my excercise right now...just getting up in the morning, I tried to engage the other ladies standing in the vicinity, Tracy bit...thank you God...so he repeated, to everyone now, that we should get a track team together in the spring, and we could participate in the masters at the Butterdome in Edmonton...even though not one of us said "ya, that's a good idea" I heard him telling Linden, that that was what "we" were planning for the spring...wth? Oh no, I'm not gonna. He can't boss me. No one can. Not even me. That's why I'm here in the first place...okay, I guess I'm kinda bossin' myself right now, but that's different.
After that, I was afraid for my life as the treadmill was shocking me every few seconds...perhaps it's some kind of governor (spelling) that won't let you fall below a certain speed or it shocks you, or maybe that was just from the friction of my thighs rubbing together...
We struggled through the core, not my favorite. Have I mentioned that before? Got the stopwatch out for the "plankage", we started, it's really hard...shaking...sweating...check the time...only too bad for us, cuz I didn't actually press start. Ugh.
I believe my favorite work out excercise is the sauna. And not surprisingly, I'm quite good at it. Maybe being a super athlete ain't so bad after all.
