Ya Can't Roller Skate in a Buffalo Herd...but you can be happy if ya put yer mind to it...

Spent yesterday rounding up and vaccinating most of our buffalo herd...feels like I was working out already.

After what looked like some kind of a comedy gag this morning...as we were trying to leave the house, we'd all 4 of us be in the vehicle, then someone would run in to grab something they forgot...then on the way back to the truck, would pass another member of our family heading back in to get what they forgot...holy gong show! Must be Monday!

So I rode into town with My Reason for Living and the 2 girls this morning, still no Lynn. We dropped the kids at school, then parked at Mark's office. I had to walk 2 blocks to the gym!!! To be fair I took that off my cardio time. Triathlon girl pointed out to me that it IS down hill all the way. Still counts.

Still a struggle with the old ipod. I don't actually have a pocket, so just stick it in my waist band. As I'm running on the treadmill, the darn thing slid right down and hit the ground...there I was fishing it out...looking extremely cool. I'm sure. As I'm doing my core, it jumped right outa my waistband and hit the floor, yanking the headphones out of my ears. Ouch. And exposing the bare wires near the plug, even more...I hope I don't get electricuted. Hmmm...that could be reason #2 for not going to the gym.
Workout was good, except for the guy hogging the cable machine. Seriously. I think if you're away from the maching for 5 min or more, it should be assumed that you're done. Grrrr. Oh well. I guess I'm not that honed of an athlete, that it really matters if I do my workout out of order.


So, finished up, and walked the 2 blocks to catch my ride. UPHILL this time. I think that should definetly be noted.
